who am i?
Hi, I'm Steve. I'm a dad. I spend my time reading books about bees, looking at BIG trash trucks, and talking in a voice that sounds suspiciously like Yoda.
I'm also a professional web developer.
skills
WEB TECHNOLOGIES
- HTML/CSS
Extensive experience hand-coding valid XHTML and CSS. I've debugged more CSS issues than I care to count.
- PHP/MySQL
On a daily basis I alter and create advanced object-oriented web applications using PHP and MySQL. You could call it my forte.
- Javascript/AJAX
I'm learning the joy of Javascript frameworks, and I'm fascinated by the user-experience transformation that AJAX is ushering onto the web. So much so, that I read books about Ajax for fun.
- XML/Flash/Ruby/LAMP Server Admin
These are a few areas where my experience has been more peripheral, due to heavy focus elsewhere. I'm always looking for an excuse to hone some of these skills.
